DOE to Provide Up To $30 Million for Acceleration of Plug-In Hybrid Electric Vehicle Technology Deployment

The U.S. Department of Energy’s (DOE) National Energy Technology Laboratory announced a Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) for cost-shared development and demonstration projects supporting Plug-In Hybrid Vehicles (PHEVs). DOE anticipates awarding one to four Cooperative Agreements with Federal Funding of $30 million, for a project total with cost share of approximately $60 million over a three-year period.
