Summary:

The purpose of this solicitation is to develop advanced solid-state lighting (SSL) technologies that, compared to conventional lighting technologies, are much more energy efficient, longer lasting, and cost-competitive. The goals are to reach a product system efficiency of 50% with lighting that accurately reproduces the sunlight spectrum and to support the development of state of the art SSL general illumination products.

3. Phosphors or Encapsulants
4. Electronics Development
5. OLED Lighting Panel
6. Low cost substrates and encapsulation for OLEDs
7. Off Grid SSL Products
