Registering With Grants.gov
All applicants for Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy (EERE) financial assistance should use the Grants.gov system. This system allows applicants to register with the U.S. government, download blank application forms, and submit completed applications for financial assistance opportunities throughout the federal government.
If you are considering applying for federal financial assistance, you should first complete a Grants.gov registration. Although the registration process is detailed, once you are registered, your registration is applicable to all future financial assistance opportunities throughout the federal government.
The Grants.gov registration process can take up to five days to complete. Be sure to plan enough time to complete your registration before your application closing date.
For detailed registration information and checklists, see the Grants.gov Get Registered page.
