Developing geothermal resources translate to more jobs at home, and a more robust economy.

States and local communities using geothermal energy find that economic development and employment benefits are interrelated.

When the geothermal industry plans for and builds power plants or direct-use applications, like greenhouses, they make expenditures for services and equipment.
