National Geothermal Academy Underway at University of Nevada, Reno

The National Geothermal Academy
is an eight-week intensive summer course in all aspects of geothermal
energy development and utilization. Modules include Geothermal Geology
and Geochemistry, Geothermal Geophysics, Reservoir Engineering, and
more. The schedule for this summer is June 18 to August 10, 2012.
The program is underway at the University of Nevada, Reno, which was selected to host the academy because of its expertise in geothermal research and exploration and the abundance of geothermal activity in Nevada.
