Hydrogen

American Hydrogen Association (AHA) - A nonprofit association of individuals and institutions, both technical and nontechnical, dedicated to the advancement of inexpensive, clean, and safe hydrogen energy systems.

American Petroleum Institute (API) - The primary trade association of the oil and natural gas industry, some API members are also involved in the development of hydrogen and fuel cell technologies.

Canadian Hydrogen Association (CHA) - A nonprofit membership association composed of universities, research organizations, industry and small business that promotes the use and development of hydrogen energy, hydrogen energy systems and technologies.

European Hydrogen Association works to identify and inform the public (elected officials, industrial companies, research scientists, media, and general public) about hydrogen-related capabilities existing in Europe. It fosters European participation in national and international projects, through the specialized workshops and events.

German Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Association promotes the introduction of hydrogen energy in Germany, Europe, and throughout the world.

Clean Energy Network - Clearinghouse for news and information and projects to promote hydrogen and other clean energy technologies in Mendocino County.

Hydrogen Energy Center - Non-profit organization working toward a sustainable energy economy based on renewable hydrogen through public education, advocacy, technology demonstration, and job creation in the Maine and the New England region.

Hydrogen Now! - Non-profit international organization committed to influencing and having a direct impact on the transition to a hydrogen economy.

International Association of Hydrogen Energy (IAHE) - Association formed to inform the public of the important role of hydrogen energy and stimulate the exchange of information in the hydrogen energy field through publications and sponsorship of international workshops, short courses and conferences.

International Energy Agency (IEA) Hydrogen Program - International program that supports collaborative activities focused on the advancement of the implementation and utilization of hydrogen technologies. IEA is an autonomous agency that functions as an important energy forum for 26 member countries, including the United States.

National Hydrogen Association (NHA) - NHA serves as a catalyst for information exchange and cooperative projects and provides the setting for mutual support among industry, government, and research/academic organizations. Comprised of members from automobile companies, fuel cell developers, gas producers, chemical companies, and others.

Fuel Cells Texas - A non-profit trade association representing the fuel cell industry in Texas.

Fuel Cell World - Internet home for the World Fuel Cell Council, a nonprofit association founded by a number of fuel cell manufacturers and material suppliers.

NextEnergy - A Detroit-based organization that markets and promotes Michigan as a location for industries involved in alternative energy technologies, such as fuel cells.

International Organization for Standardization, Technical Committee 197 Information - The ISO Hydrogen Technologies committee develops standards in the field of systems and devices for the production, storage, transport, measurement and use of hydrogen.

American National Standards Institute (ANSI) - A private, non-profit organization (501(c)3) that administers and coordinates the U.S. voluntary standardization and conformity assessment system.

American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) - A nonprofit educational and technical organization promoting the art, science, and practice of mechanical engineering throughout the world.

American Society for Nondestructive Testing (ASNT) - Organization serving the nondestructive testing (NDT) professions and promoting NDT technologies, through publishing, certification, research and conferencing.

Canadian Hydrogen Association - A nonprofit membership association composed of universities, research organizations, industry and small business dedicated to promoting the use and development of hydrogen energy, hydrogen energy systems and technologies and to developing the role of hydrogen energy for the purpose of improving the environment.

Canadian Gas Association - Organization providing leadership in the continuing growth of Canada's natural gas and energy delivery industry.

Canadian General Standards Board - Organization of the Government of Canada offering client-centred, comprehensive standardization services in support of stakeholders' economic, regulatory, procurement, health, safety and environmental interests.

Canadian Standards Organization - Not-for-profit, membership-based association serving business, industry, government and consumers in Canada and the global marketplace.

Compressed Gas Association (CGA) - Organization dictated to the development and promotion of safety standards and safe practices in the industrial and medical gas industry.

CSA America - Standards-writing body in the United States for appliances and accessories fueled by natural, liquefied petroleum, and hydrogen gases.

European Integrated Hydrogen Project - Project funded by the European Commission to develop harmonized, world-wide regulations and periodic inspection procedures for hydrogen vehicles, refueling infrastructure, subsystems, and components.

International Code Council (ICC) - A nonprofit organization dedicated to developing a single set of comprehensive and coordinated national model construction codes.

Instrument Society of America (ISA) - Industry organization representing the interests of measurement and control systems and equipment

National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) - International, nonprofit organization formed to reduce the worldwide burden of fire and other hazards on the quality of life by providing and advocating scientifically-based consensus codes and standards, research, training and education.

Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) - U.S. government agency that develops and enforces workplace regulations and standards aimed at saving lives, preventing injuries, and protecting the health of America's workers.

Society of Automotive Engineers Fuel Cell Standards Committee - Committee formed to establish standards and test procedures for fuel cell powered vehicles.

The High Pressure Gas Safety Institute of Japan - The principal organization for promoting autonomous safety activities for the prevention of high-pressure gas accidents in Japan .
