Standards Development Organizations

Many standards development organizations are cooperating in the development of codes and standards to ensure safety and encourage the safe commercialization of hydrogen.

Codes and Standards Development Organizations and Roles
Type Organizations Responsibility
Domestic Codes and Standards American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) Materials testing standards
American National Standards Institute (ANSI) Methodology of codes and standards development
American Petroleum Institute (API) Equipment standards
