Hydrogen Delivery R&D Activities
Hydrogen delivery technology may encompass several options over the short and long terms. The transportation and distribution methods used at the early stages, when volumes are relatively low, may be different than those used when hydrogen is used more widely as an energy carrier and in large quantities. DOE supports analysis of hydrogen production and delivery options as well as research and development of technologies to enable lower cost and more energy-efficient hydrogen delivery and handling.
