Hydrogen, Fuel Cells and Infrastructure Technologies Program – Education
For State and Local Governments
Many states have begun to implement initiatives, policies, programs, and partnerships to advance the use of hydrogen and fuel cell technologies.
The Basics
Visit the Increase Your H2IQ page to view downloadable fact sheets and other introductory resources on hydrogen technologies. Information about how to obtain print copies of these and other documents from the Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy Information Center is also included.
Bi-Monthly Informational Call Series for State and Regional Initiatives
DOE, the National Hydrogen Association, and the Clean Energy Group co-host a bi-monthly informational call series for states and state/regional hydrogen and fuel cell initiative leaders on various topics. This informal activity is intended to help participants network, share lessons learned, and find helpful information.
State Fuel Cell and Hydrogen Policy and Demonstration Database
Hosted by Fuel Cells 2000 and developed in partnership with DOE, this searchable State Fuel Cell and Hydrogen Policy and Demonstration Database provides information about state programs, policies, incentives, stationary fuel cell installations, vehicle demonstrations, and hydrogen fueling stations.
State Activities that Promote Fuel Cells and Hydrogen Infrastructure Development
Produced by Breakthrough Technologies Institute, the State Activities that Promote Fuel Cells and Hydrogen Infrastructure Development (PDF 600 KB) report provides a state-by-state analysis of programs and incentives for hydrogen, fuel cells, and zero emission vehicles. Download Adobe Reader.
