Fuel Cells for Buildings Roadmap Workshop

The U.S. Department of Energy sponsored the Fuel Cells for Buildings and Stationary Applications Roadmap Workshop in College Park, Maryland, April 10-11, 2002. Attendees included researchers, government officials, and industry members.

The purpose of the workshop was to design a set of actions for research, development, and demonstration of fuel cell technologies for use in buildings and stationary applications that will achieve the following vision for the fuel cell industry.

By 2020, fuel cells will be intimately integrated in buildings, part of a flexible portfolio of options for meeting energy needs and/or supporting the grid.

The proceedings of the Fuel Cells for Buildings and Stationary Applications Roadmap Workshop, which include the overview presentations and the recommendations of the three breakout groups, are available as Adobe Acrobat PDFs. Download Adobe Reader.
