Car #1: Hey Joe! Good to see you roll in…
Car #2: Yo Bobby... what's THAT? (a little loud)
Car #1: THAT, my four-wheeled-friend, is the future.
Car #2: The future?
Car #1: Yup. It's a new hydrogen pump.
Car #2: Hy-dro-gen?
Car #1: Well, my driver heard about it on the radio, so I learned a little somethin' about H2, as it's called.
Car #2: ...so...
Car #1: So, hydrogen can be used in fuel cells to power cars like us, homes, and even buildings.
Car #2: Go on…
Car #1: Hydrogen is a clean, safe fuel...It can be made from lots of different things right here in the U.S. — like plants, fossil fuels...even water...
Car #2: I like that part about being made the USA.
Car #1: Yeah, me too, and with hydrogen fuel cells, no more exhaust…the only thing coming out of our tailpipe is water.
Car #2: Wow, that means cleaner air!
Car #1: Yeah! But it'll be a while. They're still workin' it all out …this station is one of the first… in fact…this is one of the few states in the country that has a hydrogen fueling station.
Car #2: Wow, I guess I've just increased my "H2IQ!" (they laugh)
Announcer: Increase your H2IQ by going to hydrogen.energy.gov. This message brought to you by the U.S. Department of Energy's Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy.
