FCTO Announces Plenary Talk at American Society of Mechanical Engineers Energy Sustainability and Fuel Cell Technology Conference

The Fuel Cell Technologies Office announces a plenary talk by Dr. Sunita Satyapal, Director, Fuel Cell Technologies Office at the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) Energy Sustainability and Fuel Cell Technology Conference in Boston, Massachusetts, between June 30 and July 2, 2014. Dr. Satyapal is the Director of the Fuel Cell Technologies Office within the Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy and is responsible for $100 million per year in research, development, demonstration and deployment of hydrogen and fuel cells.
There will be a fuel cell early market panel following the plenary talk. Early markets represented will include material handling equipment, emergency backup power, and specialty vehicle applications.
We also encourage engineering researchers, graduate students, post-doctoral researchers, senior level undergraduate students, and research faculty to suggest oral or poster presentations for the conference by submitting 400 word abstracts to the conference by Saturday, March 29, 2014. Abstract submissions in the science, engineering, economics, business, and policy areas of fuel cells and renewable energy are welcome. Authors can choose between either oral or poster presentation. The conference covers a variety of renewable energy topics including wind, solar photovoltaic, solar thermal, microgrids, fuel cells, hydrogen production, and electrolysis.
