DOE's Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Activities, Progress, and Plans Report to Congress describes the DOE Hydrogen Program's research, development, and demonstration activities, as well as progress toward achieving program goals, external review and evaluation processes, and future activities. Published in January 2009, this report fulfills requirements of section 811 of the Energy Policy Act of 2005.
DOE's Fuel Cell School Buses Report to Congress examines the potential for a fuel cell school bus development and demonstration program and assesses the process for converting natural gas infrastructure to support the use of fuel cell school buses. Published in January 2009, this report fulfills the requirements of section 743 of the Energy Policy Act of 2005.
The Secretary of Energy's First Biennial Report to Congress Responding to Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Technical Advisory Committee (HTAC) Findings and Recommendations during Fiscal Year 2007 responds to the Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Technical Advisory Committee Biennial Report to the Secretary of Energy (HTAC Report). HTAC, a Federal Advisory Committee, was established to advise the Secretary of Energy on the programs and activities under Title VIII of the Energy Policy Act of 2005.
DOE's Effects of a Transition to a Hydrogen Economy on Employment in the United States Report to Congress estimates the employment effects of a transformation of the U.S. economy to the use of hydrogen in the 2020 to 2050 timeframe. This report fulfills requirements of section 1820 of the Energy Policy Act of 2005.
DOE's Hydrogen Goal-Setting Methodologies Report to Congress summarizes the processes used to set Hydrogen Program goals and milestones. Published in August 2006, it fulfills the requirement under section 1819 of the Energy Policy Act of 2005.
DOE's Solar and Wind Technologies for Hydrogen Production Report to Congress summarizes the technology roadmaps for solar- and wind-based hydrogen production. Published in December 2005, it fulfills the requirement under section 812 of the Energy Policy Act of 2005.
DOE's Fuel Cell Report to Congress summarizes the technical and economic barriers to the use of fuel cells in transportation, portable power, stationary, and distributed generation applications. It was published in February 2003.
