DOE Fuel Cell Technologies Program Announces Reversible Fuel Cell Workshop on April 19
April 13, 2011
The U.S. Department of Energy's (DOE) National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) will be hosting a one-day Reversible Fuel Cells Workshop on Tuesday, April 19 in Crystal City, Virginia. Reversible fuel cells can play a key role in storing of electricity generated from variable resources, including renewable energy. The workshop will focus on hydrogen-based fuel cell technologies and will bring together subject matter experts and developers to review the state-of-the-art. The goal of the workshop is to discuss the feasibility of these technologies for renewable electricity storage and to identify barriers to implementation.
Workshop space is limited. To register for the workshop please RSVP to Robert Remick at robert.remick@nrel.gov. A webinar of the event will also be available.
