Webinar July 19: Where the Jobs Are – Hydrogen and Fuel Cells in Your Area

The U.S. Department of Energy’s Fuel Cell Technologies Program, the Clean Energy States Alliance, and the Technology Transition Corp. will be hosting a webinar titled “Where the Jobs Are: Hydrogen and Fuel Cells in Your Area” as part of their Learning from Local Leaders Webinar Series on Tuesday, July 19, from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. EDT. During the webinar, attendees will learn how local governments can create and implement attractive policies to facilitate fuel cell installations and entice foreign and U.S. companies to their area. Specifically, attendees will hear from the South Carolina Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Alliance, which reports a 65% job growth in its hydrogen and fuel cell market since 2004.
- Ronda Mosley – Senior Director for Research and Government Services, Public Technology Institute. Ronda will moderate the session.
- Shannon Baxter-Clemmons – Executive Director, South Carolina Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Alliance. Shannon will present on the Alliance's mission to promote the development of hydrogen and fuel cell initiatives in the state.
- Patrick Serfass – Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, Technology Transition Corporation. Patrick is a subject matter expert and will help field questions.

This webinar series is designed to increase knowledge of fuel cell technologies and applications, identify best practices in hydrogen and fuel cell programs and policies, and provide information and technical assistance to state policy leaders, state renewable energy programs, fuel cell organizations, and others involved in the development of effective hydrogen and fuel cell programs and policies.
