Production and Delivery // 2007 // Research and Development for Hydrogen Production and Delivery Technology
Funding: $19.3 million
Open Date: 01/08/2007
Close Date: 03/27/2007
Funding Organization: Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy
Funding Number: DE-PS36-07GO97009
The purpose of this funding opportunity is to solicit applications for research and development in the following categories:
- Category 1: Hydrogen Compression. Proposals in this category are sought for improved hydrogen compression technology for hydrogen pipeline transmission and for improved compressors for refueling sites.
- Category 2: Hydrogen Storage for Stationary Applications and Gaseous Truck Delivery. Research proposals in this category are sought to develop lower-cost bulk hydrogen gaseous storage technology.
- Category 3: Hydrogen Liquefaction. Research proposals in this category are sought to reduce the cost and increase the energy efficiency of hydrogen liquefaction.
- Category 4: Hydrogen Production via Electrolysis. Research proposals in this category are sought to develop small-scale water electrolysis technologies that meet DOE cost targets.
Funding amounts and schedules are subject to change.
