Summary:

The Department of Energy (DOE) is developing hydrogen and fuel cell technologies to allow the nation to aggressively achieve its vision of a diverse, secure, and emissions-free energy future. Through widespread commercialization of hydrogen-powered vehicles, national security interests will be supported by reducing and ultimately eliminating our reliance on foreign oil. To support a 2015 industry commercialization decision on hydrogen-powered fuel cell vehicles, DOE’s Golden Field Office invites applicants to partner with DOE in facilitating the development of codes and standards for hydrogen and fuel cell technologies and infrastructure.
