Subscribe to News and Financial Opportunity Updates

The Fuel Cell Technologies Program (FCT) offers updates on FCT news and financial opportunities. FCT tracks and publishes news and funding opportunities from the Department of Energy and other sources to help you to stay up to date on hydrogen and fuel cell technology developments.

You can receive news updates, financial opportunity updates, or both by e-mail or RSS (real simple syndication) feed.

How Do I Use RSS (real simple syndication) Feeds?

The first step is to download and install an RSS reader, which aggregates and displays chosen RSS feeds in an easy-to-read format. RSS readers automatically check for new items that are displayed within the RSS reader as a title and short description. If the item is of interest, a link connects you to the full article.

Google's News Reader Directory provides a list of free and commercial aggregators. Several Web browsers feature integrated RSS readers, as does Microsoft Outlook.

How Do I Subscribe to RSS Feeds?

With an RSS reader installed, click on a link above to open the FCT News or Financial Opportunities feed. The information (either news or financial opportunities) should appear in the reader if it is configured to open feeds automatically. If the information does not appear, then copy and paste the feed URL into the RSS reader's subscription area.

Additional Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy RSS Feeds

The DOE's Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy (EERE) offers additional news and event RSS feeds. A full list of available RSS feeds is available in the EERE news section.
