Incentives and resources are available at the national, state, county, and local levels. Utilities, private companies, and non-profits also offer incentives for energy efficiency measures including rebates, waived fees, tax credits, and loans. Resources include analysis tools, education and training programs, and energy audits. This database is designed to help those seeking to make energy efficiency upgrades to their facilities.

The LEED Green Building Rating System® is a voluntary standard for developing high-performance, sustainable buildings. LEED provides a game plan for evaluating building performance. Power Management for Personal Computer (PC) Networks

Site-Specific Energy Efficiency Incentives

Avista works with commercial customers to locate areas in their facilities that can be more energy efficient. After the audit is completed, the customer will apply for the suggested incentives provided by the auditor. Avista will pay up to 50 percent of total project cost for electric efficiency measures and up to 30 percent of total project cost for gas efficiency measures.

Equipment Used in Alternative Method of Generation of Electricity

If a customer purchases equipment used directly in generating renewable energy as the main power source, it qualifies for a rebate of sales or use taxes for those pieces of equipment. Electricity production must exceed 25 kW. This statute is effective until July 1, 2011.
