General Information
Wyoming has a total of 0.5 million residents and ranks 49th in GDP, representing $31.5 billion. In 2006, Wyoming ranked 32nd in the nation's industrial energy consumption at 257.1 trillion Btu and 27th in the nation's industrial natural gas consumption at 74.5 trillion Btu. The Industrial Technologies Program (ITP) is working with partners in the state on cost-shared research and development projects and on near-term industrial savings through the Save Energy Now initiative.

Energy Savings Assessments
With emphasis on reducing natural gas consumption, DOE provides American businesses, factories, and manufacturing facilities with on-site Energy Savings Assessments (ESAs). The purpose of these assessments is to identify immediate opportunities to save energy and money that will lead to significant long-term savings. Gold and silver stars represent facilities that have been recognized for their achievements in industrial energy savings. Industrial Assessment Center (IAC) Assessments
Industrial Assessment Centers (IACs) provide eligible small- and medium-sized manufacturers with no-cost, on-site energy assessments to identify potential savings opportunities. The following is a list of IAC training participants in Wyoming for the past two years.
