In conjunction with its industrial assessment work, the IAC Program maintains a Database of plant and related assessment information (individual plants are not identified in keeping with Program policies) recording the actual results of approximately 7,000 assessments conducted by the Program since 1980.
The IAC Database currently contains detailed data, available by Standard Industrial Classification (SIC), fuel type, base plant energy consumption, and recommended energy-efficiency improvements. Projected energy savings, cost savings, implementation cost, and simple payback are provided for each recommended measure. This data allows you to identify plants that are similar to yours and know what types of efficiency, waste reduction and productivity improvements were most frequently recommended. It can also help identify the measures most likely to be of interest in your plant, and give you actual implementation costs and payback on the selected measures. |

The IAC Database is maintained for the Department of Energy by the Center for Advanced Energy Systems (CAES) at Rutgers University, P.O. Box 1179, Piscataway, NJ 08855, (732) 445-5540. The web site contains specific information, including user manuals for the database.
