Public Power Open Session: 2010 Industrial Utility Webinar Series Similar to the “General Open Session” this session will focus on a variety of industrial energy efficiency topics pertinent to the public power community. Speakers will be obtained from public power utility service areas which have a large number or percentage of industrial energy customers and effective energy efficiency programs to service them.

Financial Mechanisms and Incentives for Implementing Efficiency Measures: 2010 Industrial Utility Webinar Series This session will focus on various financial mechanisms and incentives which allow industrial energy customers to implement energy efficiency projects. The Webinar topics may include the ESCO model, loans, state incentives, public benefit funds, and utility rebates, along with other mechanisms and incentives. Utilities and industrial energy customers can share perspectives on what financial programs work best and why.

Natural Gas Utility Efficiency Programs: 2010 Industrial Utility Webinar Series This session will focus on natural gas utilities and the energy efficiency programs they offer their customers. Speakers may also include other organizations that support programs to improve natural gas efficiency. Opening the discussion of energy efficiency to natural gas utilities is important as much of the utility focus is placed solely on electric utilities.

Public Power Financial Incentives: 2010 Industrial Utility Webinar Series This session will focus on the financial incentives public power utilities are offering to their industrial customers. It will present the benefits and challenges posed by offering these incentives. The main speakers will be utilities, however, there may also be some input from industrial customers who have received financial help from utilities.

Combined Heat and Power (CHP) Case Studies: 2010 Industrial Utility Webinar Series This session will look to industrial energy consumers who have developed CHP resources on their sites. The focus will be on challenges faced and benefits gained by during CHP implementation. This session will also include utility programs which help industrial customers develop CHP resources. Developing an understanding of what it takes to develop CHP resources is a crucial step in putting CHP projects in the ground.
