Tutorial: Registering

Overview

The entire Quick PEP application can be used anonymously without registering or logging in. When you use Quick PEP anonymously you will save all of your case information to your local computer to a Quick PEP file. If you wish to work on this case at a later time you must have this file on your computer to continue. Quick PEP also provides a way for you to register on the site so that you may save your Quick PEP case files to the server.

To register on the Quick PEP site go to the Quick PEP home page by clicking on File | Home from the main Quick PEP menu. On the right hand side of the home page you will see a Log In box. At the bottom of this box will be a link to register.

To register simply fill out the registration form as shown below.

Username must be unique in the Quick PEP system.
Username and password must be between 4 and 10 characters and can only contain letters and numbers.
The secret question and secret answer will be used to reset your password in the event that you forget your password.
