Tutorial: Case Information - Step 1 of 9

Overview

The Case Information screen is the first step in completing Quick PEP. On this screen you will enter some basic information about your case. The two most important pieces of information are the case name and the selected industry.

The case name should be a descriptive name that you will be able to remember and associate with the particular plant for this case. The industry should be the industry from the list that best describes your plant. It is very important that you select the industry that best describes your plant. Click on the More Info link to read definitions for all of the listed industries. Quick PEP will use default average data from the selected industry on certain screens. (You are always able to modify the default data to use actual data from your plant).

The contact information is completely optional. It is only used so that the printed report that Quick PEP produces at the end will have contact information printed on it. The Department of Energy will not use this information in any other fashion. Please see our Privacy Policy for more information.
