Energy Management Standards for Superior Energy Performance
Reduce your energy intensity 25% in 10 years. Reduce your energy intensity 25% in 10 years. Become a Save Energy Now LEADER

Save Energy Now is a national initiative that aims to drive a reduction of 25% or more in industrial energy intensity in 10 years. To achieve this ambitious goal, ITP is partnering with Save Energy Now LEADER Companies and Save Energy Now ALLY Organizations.

ITP has recently changed its Save Energy Now initiative to improve the way it delivers resources to its partners. Previously, any company could partner with ITP to participate in no-cost Save Energy Now energy assessments. Moving forward, any company can still apply for Save Energy Now energy assessments, however, LEADER Companies will be given priority access. Companies that choose not to sign the Save Energy Now LEADER Pledge will still have access to a substantial number of online resources, including links to financial opportunities that support energy efficiency efforts.

For more information on the improved resources offered to LEADER and non-LEADER Companies, read the Save Energy Now FY 2010 Program Developments fact sheet (PDF 3.3 MB). Download Adobe Reader.

LEADER Companies

Save Energy Now LEADER Companies are U.S. companies that sign a voluntary Pledge to reduce their facilities' energy intensity by 25% in 10 years. ITP helps LEADER Companies achieve their ambitious energy-reduction targets by providing personalized attention, tailored assistance, and priority access to technical and financial resources that will guide them through the critical steps necessary to becoming more energy efficient.

ALLY Organizations

Save Energy Now ALLY Organizations are industry stakeholders that partner with ITP to support nationwide efforts to reduce industrial energy intensity. ALLY Organizations promote the Save Energy Now® program and provide a variety of resources to industrial companies in support of the 25 in 10 goal.
