Save Energy Now® is a national initiative of the Industrial Technologies Program (ITP) to drive a reduction of 25% or more in industrial energy intensity in 10 years.

Companies nationwide can partner with DOE, participate in no-cost energy assessments, and use ITP resources to reduce energy use while increasing profits. On this site you will find:

  • Information on energy assessments performed by a DOE Energy Expert or Industrial Assessment Center to identify key energy-saving opportunities in your manufacturing plant, as well as information on the assessment process, participating plants, results, and Save Energy Now award recipients.

  • The benefits to your company in partnering as a Save Energy Now LEADER and how ALLY organizations can provide support and ITP resources to improve industrial efficiency.

  • Free proven resources such as software tools and training to increase your energy management expertise in process heating, steam, pump, fan, and compressed air systems.

  • Case studies that reveal other companies' successes and steps you can take to reduce energy use, cut costs, and boost efficiency.
