ALLY Organizations

To expand industry access to resources and accelerate reductions in industrial energy intensity, the Industrial Technologies Program (ITP) works cooperatively with Save Energy Now® ALLY Organizations—U.S. trade associations, suppliers, utilities, state organizations, universities, non-profit organizations, consultants, and other groups. On this page you'll find information on how your organization can participate as a Save Energy Now ALLY.

Save Energy Now ALLY

Support Nationwide Efforts to Reduce Energy Intensity

U.S. industrial corporations, individual manufacturing plants, and companies are committing to reduce their energy intensity 25% or more in 10 years as a Save Energy Now LEADER. To support these efforts, ALLY organizations can help to:

  • Reduce industrial energy intensity and greenhouse gas emissions
  • Achieve national energy security goals
  • Increase U.S. sustainability and competitiveness.

Strengthen Customer and Member Relationships

Participating as an ALLY allows your company to:

  • Tap into ITP's resources and technical expertise that enable success
  • Enhance your communications on energy efficiency
  • Provide added value to your members, customers, or stakeholders
  • Increase your visibility as a steward of energy efficiency and sustainability
  • Co-brand your communication materials with the Save Energy Now ALLY logo.

Expand the Reach of Save Energy Now

Once you sign up to be an ALLY, your organization will take part in promoting Save Energy Now and providing resources to industrial companies. Activities may include:

  • Disseminate select Save Energy Now materials through your organization's communication channels
  • Promote Save Energy Now benefits and opportunities at meetings, events, forums, or trade shows
  • Supplement Save Energy Now resources with your organization's resources
