Get an Energy Assessment

Energy assessments can help you and your customers identify opportunities to improve the bottom line by reducing energy use and enhancing productivity. Read more about how to save energy in your plant and across your corporation:

Save Energy Now energy assessments are provided to large industrial energy users as part of DOE's response to rising energy prices.

Industrial Assessment Centers (IACs) are aimed at small- to medium-sized manufacturers and provide a comprehensive industrial assessment at no cost. Engineering faculty and students conduct industrial assessments to identify opportunities to improve productivity, reduce waste, and save energy. Recommendations from the IAC audits have saved manufacturers an average of $55,000 annually. Read the IAC fact sheet (PDF 410 KB) to learn more. Download Adobe Reader. Contact the IAC school in your area to request an assessment today.

The IAC program provides a database, manuals, and how-to information for conducting your own plant assessment. Visit the IAC Database for more.

Download Software Tools
