Announcing the 2009 Save Energy Now Award Recipients

DOE is honoring 140 companies as 2009 Energy Champion Plants and Energy Savers. View the list.

The Industrial Technologies Program (ITP) recognizes U.S. manufacturing plants for implementing recommendations identified during Save Energy Now energy assessments and achieving significant energy savings.

Award Recipients

View a current list of Save Energy Now Energy Champion Plant and Energy Saver award recipients, as well as recipients from previous years.

Eligibility Guidelines and Process

Save Energy Now awards are presented in two categories:

  • Energy Champion Plant—More than 250,000 MMBtu total energy savings or more than 15% total energy savings.
  • Energy Saver—More than 75,000 MMBtu total energy savings or more than 7.5% total energy savings.
