The basic search looks in the title, description, filename and keywords for the search term(s) you enter. Enter your search term or phrase in the "Search the Library" box and then click the search button. Search results will be displayed on the search results page. For a choice of more search options see Advanced Search below.
Listed publications that have a PDF version available are viewable by clicking the link (i.e. PDF 1.2 MB). In order to view the PDF documents you must have the Adobe Acrobat Reader software installed on your computer. Download Adobe Reader.
The link allows you to get a listing of publications or products that are categorized similarly to the publication you started with. The most closely related publications are listed first. Relationships get looser the further down the results list you browse.
EERE will send you complimentary copies of many of its publications and products. Use the link to add a publication to your list of requested publications. This is a free service within the United States.
The advanced search looks at the title, description, filename, and keywords of the library for the search terms you enter. In addition you may also use the advanced search criteria fields to enhance your results. Each additional search crtierion you use will aid in narrowing your search results.
For example:
Use the "Browse by Topic" screen to select from a list of terms that describe EERE products and publications. When you click on a term a search is initiated to look for publications and products related to that term. Make a selection from the "Information For" or "Information Type" list to filter your results by type.
You'll find a link for many products and publications. When you click on that link a list will be created, similar to a shopping cart, to keep track of the items you want copies of. You can view the list by clicking on the "Mail Requests" button. There you can adjust the number of copies in your request or continue on to provide the information necessary to mail your requested items to you. Requested items are shipped via US Mail at no cost to you.
