U.S. Clean Heat and Power Association

The U.S. Clean Heat and Power Association (USCHPA), formerly the U.S. Combined Heat and Power Association, serves as the primary advocacy organization for the combined heat and power (CHP) industry. USCHPA activities at the national and state level helped get key CHP provisions into the Energy Policy Act of 2005 (EPACT05) and the Energy Independence and Security Act of 2007 (EISA), as well as the 10 percent investment tax credit included in the Emergency Economic Stabilization Act of 2008. In addition, the association has worked with the Regional Clean Energy Application Centers (CEACs) to support CHP market transformation efforts in a number of states.
