The Solicitation Process

The Advanced Manufacturing Office (AMO) provides cost-shared funding to pursue innovative technology R&D and increase energy efficiency across the manufacturing sector. Funding is awarded through an open, competitive solicitation process. The portfolio is designed to enable the next generation of manufacturing productivity and open new global markets.

Our solicitations may involve collaborative partnerships among manufacturers, universities, suppliers, national labs, and others. Read more at About the Office.

Project Management by TRL

AMO uses Technology Readiness Levels (TRLs) to facilitate progress in technology development for commercial markets. This approach improves project management and strengthens communication with our partners.

Active Solicitations 

The active solicitations table lists opportunities that are now open and accepting proposals. The opportunities may suit the needs or aims of your business.

Closed Solicitations 

The closed solicitations table lists past requests for proposals (RFPs) from AMO. When available, information on award recipients is provided.
