NOAA also offers Hurricane Hugo: Lessons Learned in Energy Emergency Preparedness, which explains how to use these lessons to prepare for a hurricane, cope during the storm, and restore and recover energy systems afterwards. The report also emphasizes the actions needed for government and industry to work together to effectively mitigate the effects of natural disasters.
