The Industrial Technologies Program (ITP) conducts analyses to identify the best opportunities to save energy. These analyses recognize the disparate characteristics of energy use among industries and component systems within industries.
Footprints
The Manufacturing Energy and Carbon Footprints provide a mapping of energy use, energy loss, and carbon emissions for selected industry sectors. Through them, we can assess the magnitude and distribution of manufacturing energy use, by end use and fuel type.
