Title: How to Become a Certified Practitioner and Certified Energy Manager
    Date: Tuesday, September 11, 2012
    Time: 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM EDT

The Institute for Energy Management Professionals developed an accredited Certified Practitioner track to help industrial personnel assess opportunities for improved energy efficiency. The Certified Practitioners in Energy Management Systems track prepares individuals to assist industrial personnel in the implementation of ISO 50001. In addition, the Association of Energy Engineers (AEE) offers the distinguished Certified Energy Manager designation, which recognizes professionals who demonstrate exceptional experience, aptitude, proficiency, and ethical awareness in the field. This webcast, featuring Angela Gilleland, Instructional Technology Specialist of the Georgia Institute of Technology; Rachel Howenstine, Operations Manager of the Institute for Energy Management Professionals; and Eric Woodroof on behalf of AEE, will provide an overview of each certification and offer guidance for achieving those designations.
