DOE Releases New Versions of AIRMaster+ and Steam System Assessment Tool
July 22, 2008
The U.S. Department of Energy's (DOE) Industrial Technologies Program (ITP) has released updated versions of AIRMaster+ and the Steam System Assessment Tool (SSAT) software. Both new versions allow measurement inputs in either English or metric units.
Use AIRMaster + Version 1.2.2 to assess your compressed air system, evaluate existing and future system upgrades, and calculate savings and effectiveness of energy efficiency measures. Currency selections and regional and language settings are also included. Version 1.2.2 replaces earlier versions of AIRMaster + and corrects unit labeling errors in some screens of the English version.
Develop models of steam systems with SSAT, and then use these models to apply SSAT to quantify potential energy, cost, and emissions savings of identified steam system improvement opportunities. This new version corrects all known problems with Version 2 and is compatible with Microsoft Vista and Microsoft Excel 2007.
