Annual Glass Project Review to be Held at Sandia National Laboratories DOE and the Glass Manufacturing Industry Council will conduct its sixth project review for the Glass Industry of the Future program on September 9 and 10, 2002, at Sandia National Laboratories in Livermore, California. Representatives from all segments of the U.S. glass industry will hear presentations of ongoing research projects being conducted by industry, university, and national laboratory researchers for the purpose of evaluating these projects in the OIT Glass portfolio. This meeting also provides an opportunity on September 11, 2002, for all participants to tour laboratory facilities and see unique capabilities at Sandia National Laboratories, Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, and Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory. In previous years, glass industry representatives participated in project reviews at Argonne, Oak Ridge, and Pacific Northwest National Laboratories.
