OIT Times: NICE3 Announces Eight New Technology Demonstration Awards

The NICE³ Program recently announced eight new technology demonstration awards from several OIT industry areas. The projects vary from replacing a traditional metal wheel with a high-temperature ceramic wheel in a gas-powered turbine to a ull-scale 100 ton/hr demonstration of magnetic elutriation technology for processing of iron ore.This latter project will demonstrate a patented process which produces yields of 99% magnetic iron recovery, while eliminating the need for chemicals used in conventional separation practices.
