DOE Industrial Technologies Program Introduces Three New Software Assessment Tools

May 9, 2005

DOE's Industrial Technologies Program offers industry a suite of assessment and analysis software tools to help you identify key opportunities for reducing costs, saving energy and improving the performance of industrial energy systems. Now, ITP expands the tool suite further by introducing these three new software tools on the BestPractices Web site.

Download these new tools, free of charge, and review the entire suite of ITP software tools from the BestPractices web site. Here you can also visit BestPractices' new online software tools forum to help users with questions about software tools. Visit the forum to post questions, share your knowledge, and learn from other users.

In addition, ITP BestPractices offers several End-User Training workshops to help enhance your use of the tools and incorporate them into your plant's energy management approach. More experienced industry professionals can participate in Specialist Qualification Training in specific BestPractices tools. By successfully completing the training and exam, you receive DOE recognition and can use your advanced knowledge to assist your plant or industrial customers find ways to improve energy efficiency.
