Gulf Coast CHP Center Hosts Workshop: Convert Industrial Wastes to On-Site Heat and Power

    The Gulf Coast Combined Heat and Power (CHP) Application Center, in partnership Industrial Assessment Center at the University of Louisiana, Lafayette, and the Louisiana Department of Natural Resources will host Save Energy Now: Convert Industrial Wastes to On-Site Heat and Power, on January 30, 2008, in New Orleans. The focus of this workshop will be to explore the conversion of industrial process wastes and byproducts for on-site heat and power production and examine how industrial facilities can turn industrial wastes into profits.  

    The workshop is ideal for facility managers and corporate decision makers of large industrial facilities, including petrochemical refineries, chemical manufacturing, and pulp and paper mills. This course will enable engineering personnel to earn six professional development credits. Learn more and register.
