State Resources for Industry Now Available Online
March 3, 2008
Industrial companies across the United States can now find state-specific information on energy assessments, event and training opportunities, and the latest research and development advancements through the U.S. Department of Energy’s (DOE) Industrial Technologies Program (ITP) State Activities Web site. Visit the site to access a list of contacts for ITP’s Industrial Assessment Centers, Manufacturing Extension Partnerships through the National Institute of Standards and Technology, and Regional Application Centers that facilitate the deployment of combined heat and power technologies.
Information on energy incentives available at the state, local, utility, and non-profit levels—including rebates, waived fees, tax credits, and loans—can be found in ITP’s State Incentives and Resources Database. Analysis tools and energy audits are also available for commercial and industrial managers interested in reducing energy consumption at their facilities. Visitors to the site can also find out which plants have received Save Energy Now recognition for achieving notable energy savings after participating in an energy savings assessment.
Visit the ITP Web site to learn more about research and development of new technologies and opportunities to reduce energy intensity and cost while improving productivity in your plant. Contact the EERE Information Center online or call (877) 337-3463 for assistance.
