Steam Tool Update: Correction to SSAT Version 2.0.0
January 10, 2005
DOE's Industrial Technologies Program (ITP) announces an update to the Steam System Assessment Tool (SSAT) Version 2.0.0 that will help ensure its optimum performance and capability. If you downloaded the newly released SSAT Version 2.0.0 between October 14, 2004 and January 10, 2005, please note there has been a correction to one of the template files. However, a corrected template header file is now available. See details about reinstalling the corrected files.
If you are not yet a user of SSAT Version 2.0.0, read the full article about its release in October 2004. Then start using this software to quantify the magnitude—energy, cost, and emissions savings—of key potential steam improvement opportunities in your plant.
SSAT is one in ITP's suite of software tools designed specifically to help you identify and analyze key savings opportunities in your plant.
