Save Energy Now Webcast Lecture Series Announced by Industrial Assessment Centers

    January 29, 2006

As part of a national campaign to save energy, DOE has launched a lecture series geared toward industrial energy users. The series of five lectures will address these topics of interest to industry: building management, boiler efficiency, combined heat and power, combustion systems, and steam systems. Lecturers are university professors who are internationally recognized experts in their fields. The professors also serve as directors of Industrial Assessment Centers, located at universities throughout the United States. These centers receive DOE funding to train student engineers to conduct free energy assessments for small- and medium-sized industrial plants.

The lectures are free and will be delivered to your computer via webcast. Each webcast lasts an hour, starting at noon eastern time. The first webcast is February 15, 2006. For more information about the webcasts and registration, please visit the Lecture Series Web page.
