New Quick PEP Software Provides Insight and Solutions for Energy Cost Savings

    May 8, 2006

Use ITP's new Quick Plant Energy Profiler (PEP) online software tool to assess your plant-wide energy use, and find solutions to help optimize your plant operating systems. The beta version of Quick PEP is applicable to any industrial system, and is now available at no cost. Quick PEP is a tool that can help you quickly diagnose the energy situation at your plant. When using Quick PEP, plant engineers enter information about the amount of energy purchased or generated such as electricity, steam and fuel, and average production data and energy systems descriptions. Based on this information, Quick PEP produces a report that pinpoints how energy is used by major energy systems and shows typical next steps for potential cost and energy savings.

ITP welcomes feedback from users of this new tool.

ITP offers a variety of powerful software tools to help you improve energy efficiency in your facility. To use the online Quick PEP and download other helpful software tools, visit ITP's BestPractices Software Tools Web page.
