Texas Technology Showcase Rounds Up Industrial Energy Savings
October 31, 2006
“Everything’s big in Texas,” and this year’s Texas Technology Showcase on December 6-7 in Galveston promises to be no exception! Hosted by the Texas Industries of the Future, Texas State Energy Conservation Office, Texas Commission on Environmental Quality, and the U.S. Department of Energy, the 2006 Showcase focuses on energy saving technologies and management practices for the Chemicals and Petroleum-refining industries. Attend the Showcase and learn about the tools in the Engineer’s Energy Toolbox: Practices, Technologies, and Management, from best practices in programs and new technologies that are proving themselves today, to long-term energy management strategies.
The two-day conference features four concurrent technical sessions, three plenary addresses, an awards ceremony recognizing top companies’ achievement in energy efficiency, an exhibit hall, and opportunities to network with colleagues.
Attend the four technical sessions to learn about:
- How six leading Chemical and Petroleum-refining companies have increased their plant efficiency through implementing best energy management practices and new technologies
- Proven technologies that are meeting NOx emission reduction requirements and cutting energy costs
- “Technologies on the Horizon” which showcase innovative technologies and processes
- Methodologies to optimize your plant systems for best efficiency results.
No Showcase would be complete without the best and brightest new technologies. Here are just some of the revolutionary new technologies and processes featured:
And, be sure to visit the Exhibit Hall, which will feature more than 30 companies exhibiting technologies and services for energy efficient and environmental applications.
