Asia-Pacific Partnership Solicitation Advances Clean Development and Climate Goals

To further the goals of the Asia-Pacific Partnership on Clean Development and Climate (APP), the Department of State (DOS) has issued a solicitation for Concept Papers toward projects that advance clean development and climate objectives in India. APP goals include reducing greenhouse gas emissions; advancing sustainable economic growth; reducing poverty; creating new investment opportunities; building local capacity; and improving economic and energy security. Through this grant opportunity, DOS is awarding $26 million for partnership projects. The deadline for submitting Concept Papers is 5:00 PM EST on April 27, 2007; invitations for full proposals will be sent approximately 30 days after Concept Paper submission.
