SBIR/STTR Solicitation Now Open for Applications

DOE issued the announcement for the FY2008 Phase I Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) funding opportunities on September 20, 2007. The goal of these solicitations is to encourage private sector commercialization of technologies developed through DOE-supported R&D, and improve the return on investment from federally funded research for economic and social benefits to the nation. Small businesses with strong research capabilities in science or engineering are encouraged to participate.
