OIT Participates in Texas IOF NOx Conference
November 12, 2001
OIT representatives of and local firms from Corpus Christi, Texas, convened
on October 26 to discuss energy-efficient strategies and emerging technologies
for reducing NOx emission levels in their plants. These organizations
have been under substantial pressure to reduce NOx emissions
resulting from high ground levels of ozone, which is proven to aggravate
respiratory conditions, such as asthma, in plant employees. In an effort to
address this problem, OIT hosted sessions on the following topics:
NOx Reduction Requirements
Low NOx Burner Technologies
Best Practices Implementation to Reduce NOx
Emissions.
