The Plant Energy Profiler, or ePEP (formerly Quick PEP) is a free online software tool to help U.S. industrial plant managers improve energy management at industrial facilities. The tool helps users establish a baseline for how energy is being used at their plant, and identify best opportunities to save energy and money, and calculate emissions. ePEP is designed so that the user can complete a plant profile in about an hour. The results will enable you to focus on improving the performance of major energy-consuming systems in your plant.

The Integrated Tool Suite software tool is similar to ePEP, but can be downloaded to your desktop as a stand-alone tool and does not require an Internet connection. In addition to the Energy Intensity Spreadsheet and CO2 Footprint Calculator, the suite features system-specific scorecards for quickly estimating savings opportunities.
