This course discusses performance problems encountered in everyday applications. March 22, 2012 Webcast	Process Heating End User Training	This workshop provides an introduction to process heating and process heating equipment, such as furnaces, dryers, ovens, heaters, and kilns, used by industry. The course includes discussion of combustion and other heating methods; heat transfer in furnaces; waste heat recovery; commonly used process heating controls; and emissions from heating processes. March 27-29, 2012 San Francisco, California	Specialist Qualification: Pump Systems	DOE now offers a qualification program for pumping system specialists in the use of its PSAT software. Attendees who successfully complete a PSAT qualification workshop will be recognized as a Qualified Pump System Specialist and will receive a certificate from DOE with this designation. April 3-5, 2012 San Francisco, California	Specialist Qualification: Process Heating Systems	DOE and the Industrial Heating Equipment Association (IHEA) offer the Qualified Process Heating Specialist program; participants who successfully complete a qualification workshop and exam receive the designation. Qualified PHAST Specialists apply the PHAST tool to accurately gather pertinent system information and provide realistic "what if" scenarios for process heating system operation.
