Specialist Qualification: Process Heating Systems DOE and the Industrial Heating Equipment Association (IHEA) offer the Qualified Process Heating Specialist program; participants who successfully complete a qualification workshop and exam receive the designation. Qualified PHAST Specialists apply the PHAST tool to accurately gather pertinent system information and provide realistic "what if" scenarios for process heating system operation.
